What kind of digital SLR should I buy?
I would like to buy a digital SLR camera but I dont really know that much about them. I enjoy taking wildlife pictures so need something that would suit that. Ideally i want to spend between £200-£400. Can anyone tell me a bit about what to look for or suggest a good one?
The Canon 1000D is not “Easily the best entry level DSLR”. Canon and Nikon owners like to stay in denial though. Fuji doesnt even make a DSLR.

Its true there are more Nikon and Canon lenses available. Check the prices. Can you afford all the lenses available? If you can do you plan on buying each and every one? There are more than enough Pentax and third party lenses available for any photographer.
