Help 8000k hid in mk4 astra?

Hi just fitted a set of 8000k hids in my mk4 astra 2002 plate but i at to by Bulb Holder adapters but now it lets me put the bulbs facing anyway in the lights so i was just wondering if anyone knows which way the blue strip running down the hid bulb faces or dont it matter?

It doesn't really matter as anything over 6000k is illegal for street use in the UK.
